Hi, I’m a crane fly — some people call me a “giant mosquito,” and unfortunately, that nickname has cost me my life too many times.
People see my long legs and buzzing wings and immediately think I’m dangerous. But the truth is… I’m harmless.
I don’t suck blood.
I’m not a vampire.
I’m not even a mosquito.
I feed on the nectar of flowers and help with pollination — just doing what nature designed me to do. I play a small but important role in the ecosystem, just like bees and butterflies.
I don’t bite, I don’t sting, and I certainly don’t want to hurt anyone.
So now that you know me a little better…
Please, don’t kill me.
I just want to live my short life peacefully.
