My Date Tricked Me into Babysitting His Kids While He Went Out with Another Woman – He’ll Never Forget My Epic Payback

So, I started dating this guy, Mike. We met through some mutual friends and hit it off right away. He’s super charming, sweet, and seemed really into me. After a few dates, he invited me over to his place to “bond” with his kids. He made it sound so special, like he was letting me into a significant part of his life.

Mike’s got two kids, Lily (5) and Ben (7). When I arrived at his place, he had the table set up for this cute little dinner, and everything looked perfect.

Then, in the middle of dinner, Mike gets a call. He says it’s a work emergency and he has to leave. He apologizes like crazy and asks if I can stay with the kids for a couple of hours. Being the nice person I am, I said sure.

This is where things get crazy: about an hour later, I get a text from my friend Sarah. It says, “You look gorgeous in that red dress!” I’m like, “What?” She sends me a pic of Mike at a fancy restaurant with some woman in a stunning red dress. Sarah’s all, “Isn’t that you?”

I was SHOCKED and furious. But then a brilliant idea struck me. I decided to give Mike an epic lesson he wouldn’t forget.

I got the kids ready and took them on a little adventure. First stop was the local ice cream parlor. Lily and Ben were thrilled, and I let them get the biggest sundaes they wanted. We had a blast, and I made sure they were extra messy with chocolate and sprinkles everywhere. Next, we went to the park, where I let them run wild, playing on the swings and getting covered in dirt. By the time we left, they were sticky, exhausted, and thoroughly happy.

After our park adventure, I took the kids to a toy store and let them pick out some noisy, obnoxious toys – you know, the kind that drives parents crazy. Lily chose a mini drum set, and Ben picked out a remote-control car with the loudest engine sound. I could hardly contain my laughter, imagining Mike’s reaction.

By now, it was getting late, and the kids were yawning, so I took them back to Mike’s house. But I wasn’t done yet. I made sure to give them a sugary snack right before bed – cookies and soda. They were bouncing off the walls by the time Mike finally walked through the door, looking smug and satisfied.

“Oh hey, Mike!” I greeted him with a big smile. “Hope your work emergency wasn’t too stressful. The kids and I had a great time!”

Mike looked taken aback by the chaos in his living room – toys strewn everywhere, kids running around hyper and loud. “Uh, yeah, thanks for watching them,” he mumbled, clearly not expecting this scene.

“No problem at all,” I said sweetly. “Oh, by the way, Sarah sent me a photo of you at a restaurant with another woman. Hope you had a good time. I sure did with the kids!”

Mike’s face turned pale. He stammered, “I… uh… I can explain.”

“Save it,” I interrupted. “Next time you need a babysitter, call someone else. And by the way, I’m blocking your number. Have a nice life.”

With that, I grabbed my things and left, feeling triumphant. As I walked out, I could hear the kids banging on their new drum set and revving the engine of the remote-control car. Mike was trying to calm them down, his voice drowned out by the chaos.

Later, Sarah and I had a good laugh about the whole situation. I had learned a valuable lesson about trusting my instincts, and Mike? Well, he got a taste of his own medicine. I doubt he’ll be pulling a stunt like that again anytime soon.
