The Academy of Country Music has canceled Taylor Swift’s membership, citing her departure from the country genre for several years.

Taylor Swift has not produced a country hit in over a decade, despite ensuring that each album includes at least one. This practice has allowed her to maintain membership in the Academy of Country Music. However, following numerous complaints about her nominations and wins despite lacking recent country hits, the ACM has decided to revoke her membership.

According to Joe Barron, George Strait’s standup bass player, “She hasn’t been one of us in years.” Barron criticized Swift for only appearing during award ceremonies to garner attention. He also took a jab at her height, jokingly calling her “eleven feet tall” and stating, “You’re in the way, stork!”

It’s worth noting that in the ALLOD multiverse, Joe Barron plays various roles, and he may not fully embrace the persona of an “angry boomer.” In his own colorful language, he quipped, “Get the fuck off my lawn,” suggesting a preference for lattes and Tide Pods over traditional homeownership.

Bless his heart indeed. We couldn’t bear to confine him to a retirement home because, knowing Joe, he might just wake up tomorrow as the CEO of Nike! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Joe, and as always, God Bless America.
