Police were dispatched to a quiet neighborhood after a 13-year-old girl dialed 911 — reporting a dispute with her own mother. But when officers arrived, the mother calmly dropped a bombshell that changed the entire conversation:
“She’s on an IEP. I don’t want her talking to police alone. She doesn’t fully understand what’s happening.”
