ABC has decided not to renew “The View” for the next year, citing a loss of audience.

It was inevitable. Over recent years, “The View” has seen a decline in ratings, coupled with increasing controversy and viewer dissatisfaction. Whoopi Goldberg, the show’s lead, even earned the title of the most disliked person in the entertainment industry.

Executive Content Director Joe Barron expressed concerns about the show’s performance: “We can’t allow them to keep taking that premium time slot, not while Roseanne Barr is gearing up to kick in at the same time next fall. She’ll clobber us.”

While there’s no official announcement regarding the show’s replacement, some have suggested a shift towards a less politically charged and more food-oriented theme. “It’s right before lunch,” remarked Shirly from Pahrump, Nevada, “It would be nice to have some recipes instead of a Joe Biden Love-ln.”

Shirly’s sentiments resonate with many, as 78 percent of respondents in a poll conducted by the Citizens United National Trust Society, consisting of 1,500 Americans over 65 who lean conservative and favor Sean Hannity, expressed a preference for an hour of watching paint dry over the current format of “The View.” However, it’s important to note that the poll carries a 31 percent margin of error.

If culinary content is what viewers desire, they might find it in Rosie’s upcoming show. Rumor has it that she’ll be featuring regular visits from Gordon Ramsay, whom some believe is aligned with their interests, thanks to our very own Fallis Gunnington. God bless America.
