Jon Voight describes working with DeNiro as draining, comparing it to babysitting a spoiled child.

Posted on March 17, 2024March 17, 2024 By admin No Comments on Jon Voight describes working with DeNiro as draining, comparing it to babysitting a spoiled child.

Jon Voight, a highly esteemed actor in the industry, has collaborated with numerous Hollywood personalities. Yet, one individual stands out prominently to him: Robert DeNiro.

“Working with him is a challenge,” remarked Voight. “It’s akin to tending to a spoiled child.” Voight’s experience extended over six months during the filming of “Casino” alongside DeNiro, an endeavor he vows not to repeat.

“He carries a lot of anger,” Voight elaborated, “Much of what you witness on screen reflects his genuine emotional state most of the time. That ‘you talkin’ to me’ expression? He wears it quite frequently.”

Since then, Voight hasn’t pursued further collaborations with DeNiro. “I’ve turned down several roles simply because he was involved. I was even supposed to portray Greg Focker’s father.”

Entertainment correspondent Tara Newhole from ALLOD expresses uncertainty regarding Voight’s critique of DeNiro’s performance in “Casino.” “DeNiro was truly exceptional,” she remarked. “The desert scene, where they confront Joe Pesci and his brother, is unforgettable. Even though Voight wasn’t in it, his presence felt palpable.”

Newhole confidently asserts that Jon Voight wasn’t even part of the cast in “Casino.” “I believe he had a minor role in ‘Heat,’ but that’s primarily recognized as a DeNiro/Pacino collaboration,” she stated. According to the journalist, Voight might just be “another out-of-touch, somewhat delusional Boomer.”

Regardless of its accuracy, patriots, the remark about babysitting a spoiled child will likely generate enough attention to alleviate some Christmas debt. God bless America.
